National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is April 18 through April 24, 2021. This special commemoration honoring crime victims, encompassing the theme—Support Victims. Build Trust. Engage Communities.—that emphasizes the importance of leveraging community support to help victims of crime.
April is also Child Abuse Prevention Month. The sponsors of this event hope to emphasize the gravity of the problem of child abuse and neglect and remind all citizens that the responsibility for promoting healthy families and preventing child abuse lies with each and every one of us.
