Community of Practice (CoP) Webinar – Rethinking Survivor Leadership

This 90-minute discussion will be led by Chris Ash, Survivor Leadership Program Manager of the National Survivor Network and will be an opportunity for OVC human trafficking grantees to reflect, unlearn, and build strategies to increase survivor engagement within their organization by creating context for the ways they interact with persons with a lived experience in their community.

Throughout this call, participants are encouraged to discuss—

• Strategies to acknowledge any biases regarding working with persons with lived experience.
• Effective ways to utilize the NSN/Global Fund to End Modern Slavery’s Spectrum of Survivor Engagement.
• Approaches to increase survivor engagement through leveraging diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
• Ways to connect with the Survivor Engagement TTA (OVC SETTA) to further your own survivor engagement.
