This three-day training focuses on developing specific skills in law enforcement and child protective service investigators, and forensic interviewers who work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) environment.
Utilizing actual case studies and performance-driven training, participants will learn how to conduct witness interviews, interrogation of alleged offenders, the benefits of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach, how to recognize and manage bias, children's abilities to date and time events, how the disclosure process affects a child's willingness to report maltreatment, along with other issues involved in the investigation of child sexual abuse cases.
