The Lake County Human Trafficking Task Force is excited to announce we will be partnering with A21 to bring the #WalkForFreedom for its second year in Lake County, Illinois. Join them as the community comes together to highlight human trafficking awareness. This event is open to anyone, please help us spread the word and bring the community together.

Thank you, Gurnee Mills for collaborating with the hosts in efforts to make this walk possible. 

Sign in will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Participants will begin lining up for the walk around 12:15 p.m. Please come early enough for sign-in and to be present for opening announcements. Meet inside entrance G. Participants will walk in a single file line in silence inside the perimeter of the Gurnee Mills Mall. 

Day of Information To Know: 

  • Please dress in all Black and arrive before 12:00 p.m. for check in.  
  • There will be a community resource fair available during registration.
