Tapestri will work with Salvation Army-Haven Atlanta, View Point Health, Alianza Terapeutica Latina, CHRIS 180, and All About You Counseling Center to ensure that foreign national and U.S citizen victims of human trafficking have access to culturally and linguistically appropriate behavioral health services in the state of Georgia. Tapestri’s Mental Health Coordinator will coordinate referral to partner agencies, assist client’s with program forms, coordinate transportation for appointments, purchase client medication and assist with technology needs of individuals accessing Telemental health services. Survivors in need of comprehensive services including housing, medical, criminal justice-based advocacy, legal assistance, education and employment will be referred to Tapestri’s OVC Comprehensive Program. Tapestri anticipates serving a minimum of 50 foreign national survivors and qualifying derivatives, while Salvation Army serves 20 U.S adult victims of trafficking during the 36-month grant period. Additionally, Tapestri will provide HT 101 training, encompassing all forms of trafficking, to local partners. will also provide Trauma Informed Approaches in Criminal Justice Setting training to professionals and allies working with victims of human trafficking.
