Meeting the Basic Needs of Crime Victims

The purpose of this grant program is to provide culturally responsive services to crime victims and survivors from communities that have been historically underserved; marginalized; adversely affected by inequality; and disproportionately impacted by crime, violence, and victimization. With this funding, CONGRESO DE LATINOS UNIDOS, INC., will provide food, clothing, furniture that meets child safety standards, transportation assistance, and rental and utility assistance to 25 victims of crime in eastern North Philadelphia, where the population is largely Latino.
