Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $200,000)
The purpose of this award, one of several projects under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to allow International Rescue Committee, Inc. (Phoenix) to provide timely, high-quality comprehensive services to foreign national victims of severe forms of human trafficking and enhance interagency collaboration and coordination in the provision of services to such victims. International Rescue Committee (Phoenix)will provide comprehensive services to victims of sex and labor trafficking identified or living in Arizona; build effective community service networks to respond to victims' needs; and provide training to increase awareness among criminal justice entities, social service providers, and the public of the rights and needs of trafficking victims over a one year period. nc/ncf
