Enhancing Domestic Violence Awareness and Outreach for Victims among Chinese Immigrants in New York City

The purpose of the OVC FY 09 Public Awareness and Outreach to Victims in Underserved Communities is to raise awareness of traditionally underserved populations about victims' rights as well as improve their knowledge about accessing local services available to crime victims. The Garden of Hope, Inc. public awareness campaign will partner with three organizations to reach out to Chinese immigrants who are victims of domestic violence through radio broadcasts, TV commercials, ethnic newspaper articles and a community parade.ca/ncf
