The purpose of this award, one of several projects funded under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to enhance the quality and quantity of services available to assist victims of human trafficking, as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000, as amended.
YouthCare will provide specialized services for victims of sex trafficking aged 12 to 24 identified or living in Seattle, Washington. In addition, the YouthCare will work to increase the capacity of communities to respond to human trafficking victims through the development of interagency partnerships and by conducting training and public awareness activities.
