The primary goal of the FY 2018 Comprehensive Services for All Forms of Victims of Human Trafficking Program is to enhance the quality and quantity of services available to assist victims of human trafficking, as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000, as amended. The Program provides funding to victim service organizations with a demonstrated history of providing comprehensive services for victims of human trafficking. Funding also supports efforts to increase the capacity of communities to respond to human trafficking victims through the development of interagency partnerships, professional training, and public awareness activities.

With this award, The Life Link will provide comprehensive services to victims of human trafficking in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe corridor to address their needs for safety, security, and healing. The project will enhance the quantity and quality of services available to achieve victims’ goals of independence, self-sufficiency, increased safety and well-being. Specific goals of the project are to: 1) enhance interagency collaboration and improve the coordinated response to victims of human trafficking; 2) provide high-quality services that address the individual needs of victims; 3) promote the dignity and self-sufficiency of victims to improve their access to resources; and 4) expand and retain a prepared, motivated, and professionally supported workforce to more effectively serve human trafficking victims.
