This program will support projects to build or enhance a community response to female genital mutilation and cutting.
The objective of this program is to deliver community-based programming to stop female genital mutilation and cutting by educating communities and forming community networks of agencies and organizations that are positioned to identify girls at-risk and respond to eligible survivors/victims.
OVC anticipates making up to six awards of up to $300,000 each for a 36-month period of performance, to begin on October 1, 2021.
