Description
This grant makes available $500,000 to a nonprofit organization—including faith-based and community organizations—that can provide hands-on, culturally relevant training and technical assistance to American Indian and Alaskan Native (AI/AN) grantees who have received funding through the FY09 CJA Partnerships for Indian Communities Discretionary Grant Program. Training should focus on multidisciplinary approaches to investigating, prosecuting, treating, and advocating for victims of child abuse and child sexual abuse and should include strategies for minimizing trauma to child victims and maximizing needed services to victims.
