Tina L. Fox | National Crime Victim Service Award
Tennessee Board of Parole
Nashville, Tennessee
Tina L. Fox has served as State Director of Victim Services for the Tennessee Board of Parole since January 2012. Throughout her tenure, she has embraced this role to serve Tennessee crime victims and their families. Her creative and innovative ideas and processes have placed her division in the top tier when serving victims. She works continuously to uphold and ensure that victims’ legal rights are always preserved and protected throughout the parole process.
Ms. Fox’s mantra is two-fold—“Victims Focused” and “No More Victims.” While serving as State Director, she has implemented statewide training for all victim coordinators, institutional probation and parole officers, and board members; established a toll free phone number for victims; coordinated National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and Tennessee Season to Remember commemorations; developed and distributed a monthly Victim Services Newsletter; supported victims in the passage of legislation; and formed a statewide Victim’s Support Committee. Others have recognized Ms. Fox’s competency and accomplishments in the victims’ arena. She is often requested to speak, train, or support a variety of victim-related activities.
Being “victims focused” has propelled her to excellence in service to victims.
