This report (the second of a series on the Judicial Oversight
Demonstration Initiative [JOD]) discusses the evaluation findings
on implementing the JOD Initiative, which aims to improve
comprehensive services to domestic-violence victims, increase
victim safety, and hold offenders more accountable.
Abstract
This report discusses the Judicial Oversight Demonstration Initiative, an effort to improve the provision of services to victims of intimate partner violence (IPV), increase victim safety, and hold offenders more accountable. The report reveals some of the findings of an evaluation of the initiative, and presents lessons learned about implementing court-involved IPV prevention programs.
