Deadline Extended: Submit Your Art for Display at the 18th National Indian Nations Conference

The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) biennial National Indian Nations Conference is one of the largest U.S. Department of Justice-sponsored conferences for the Tribal community. The event brings together a wide array of stakeholders who work with American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) victims of crime.

OVC is pleased to announce the launch of an art initiative to support the 18th National Indian Nations Conference, tentatively scheduled for December 2024. We seek original artwork from survivors, advocates, and representees from Tribal communities, which may be used on conference materials and displayed throughout the conference venue.

This initiative offers a unique opportunity to enhance OVC’s collaboration with the AI/AN community for this upcoming conference and continue a long-held tradition of showcasing original Tribal art at this event.

  • Eligibility: Individuals and artists, of all ages, with lived experience and allies in the Tribal victim services field. Submissions can be individual or as a group/collective.
  • Deadline: 11:59 p.m., eastern time on Friday, December 22, 2023
