World Day Against Trafficking in Persons
This year’s theme for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime World Day Against Trafficking in Persons is “Leave No Child Behind in the Fight Against Human Trafficking.” This global campaign recognized on July 30, 2024, is a call for action to protect vulnerable groups from exploitation and support child victims of trafficking.

Save the Date: 2025 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week
Since 1981, National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) has challenged the Nation to confront and remove barriers to achieving justice for all victims of crime. During NCVRW, we celebrate the accomplishments of the victims’ rights movement and reflect on how far we have come.
Every April, OVC leads communities throughout the country in their annual observances of NCVRW. In 2025, we will observe NCVRW April 6–12.
Until the release of 2025 NCVRW materials, we encourage you to access the 2024 NCVRW Resource Guide, which provides a wealth of materials, in both English and Spanish, to educate the public about victims' rights, protections, and services throughout the year. The guide contains ideas on how to keep raising awareness of victims’ rights throughout the year.
These 2024 NCVRW materials were created by the National Center for Victims of Crime with funding from OVC.
