Join the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Victims Advocate to observe National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW)! This year’s NCVRW theme, Connecting < KINSHIP > Healing, emphasizes the power of community in supporting victims and survivors of crime. KINSHIP reminds us that healing begins with connection, advocacy, and access to vital resources.

This day of education, awareness, and support will feature:

  • Local victim advocacy & support organizations.
  • Guest speaker Annisha Dunaway, LCSW (Department of Homeland Security Victim Assistance Specialist).
  • Resources for survivors of crime, domestic violence, human trafficking, and more.
  • Information on victim compensation, legal rights, and mental health services.
  • A candlelight vigil honoring crime victims, survivors, and their families.
