Domestic violence victims often experience terrible and traumatic physical violence—often directed at the head, neck, and face—through blows to the head or strangulation. Victims reach out to the justice system for safety and protection, and often, these responses save lives. Yet brain injury can create unique, often unidentified barriers to effectively accessing and remaining engaged in justice system processes.

This Justice Clearinghouse webinar will discuss the ways in which brain injury can show up and impact victim participation in every part of the justice system process and provide you with strategies and tools to address the impact of brain injury within justice services.

All Justice Clearinghouse webinars are 75 minutes long (1 hour for formal presentation, 10-15 minutes for Q&A).
