The OVC VOCA Center - Learning Community Victim Compensation: Exploring the Expansion of Good Cause Exceptions – Session 3

Hosted by the OVC VOCA Center, this learning community for Victim Compensation Administrators will allow 6-8 states in a small cohort to dig deeper into the policies, rules, statute, and climate of each state’s compensation program and examine ways to potentially enhance good cause exceptions to increase the accessibility of the program for more victims, especially those from historically unserved communities. Building from Session 2, participants will assess the estimated costs that programs may experience when initiating or expanding good cause exceptions and present any assessments created for the identified changes of specific participants.
