The OVC VOCA Center - Learning Community Victim Compensation: VC - Victim/Survivor Centered Correspondence Session 3

State Crime Victim Compensation Programs often hear that correspondence sent to victims/survivors lacks sensitivity and is not easily understood. The OVC VOCA Center will host a Learning Community for up to eight states to participate in modifying their documents to be more victim/survivor centered and easier to comprehend.  During the learning community sessions, participants will: focus on key principles to create victim-centered, trauma-informed program documents; work to improve the accessibility and readability of current and future program documents.
