Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2021, $749,997)
Over the past three years, law enforcement agencies, service providers and community groups have come together to curb trafficking through the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force LARHTTF, the largest co-located Task Force in the country. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department and Saving Innocence will co-lead the enhancement of the Task Force, in partnership with the US Attorney’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations. This federal funding will allow the Task Force to build on accomplishments, including continued delivery of services, ongoing joint investigation and prosecutions, and building out the training and outreach agenda to further increase identification of victims and the comprehensive services available for victims.
