Rebuilding Lives: New York Collaborative Against Trafficking & Slavery, an enhancement and expansion of Safe Horizon's Anti-Trafficking Program.

The purpose of this award, one of several projects under the Services for Trafficking Victims Discretionary Grant Program, is to allow Safe Horizon, Inc. to expand victim service programs for persons who have been identified by federal law enforcement as victims of a severe form of trafficking during the pre-certification period. Safe Horizon, Inc. will provide comprehensive services to trafficking victims in New York City and Nassau County, Long Island, New York; build effective community service networks to respond to victims' needs; and provide training to increase awareness among criminal justice entities, social service providers, and the public of the rights and needs of trafficking victims in New York City and Nassau County, Long Island, over a 33-month period.

The purpose of this award, one of several projects under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to allow Safe Horizon to provide timely, high-quality comprehensive services to foreign national victims of severe forms of human trafficking and enhance interagency collaboration and coordination in the provision of services to such victims. Safe Horizon will provide comprehensive services to victims of sex and labor trafficking in New York City; build effective community service networks to respond to victims' needs; and provide training to increase awareness among criminal justice entities, social service providers, and the public of the rights and needs of trafficking victims over a one year period. nc/ncf
