Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2011, $149,999)
The purpose of this award, one of several projects funded under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to allow Project REACH, a program of The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute, to provide mental health assessments and brief trauma-informed mental health interventions to victims of human trafficking as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended. Project REACH will marshal resources to provide direct mental health services for foreign national and U.S. citizen victims of human trafficking identified or living in the United States and U.S. territories and will provide training and technical support to professionals over a two year project period. ca/ncf
