ORR helps refugees and other special populations (such as adult victims of severe forms of trafficking) obtain economic and social self-sufficiency in the United States. The National Organization for Victim Advocacy advocates for dignity and compassion for those harmed by crime. Among the services they provide are skill-based and survivor-centered training to victim advocates and crisis responders.

Contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week toll free at 800−799−7233 or TTY 800−787−3224, through online chat, or by texting LOVEIS to 22522. Staff are standing by to provide crisis intervention, information about domestic violence, and referrals to local programs. Services are available in many languages, including Spanish. All services are free and confidential.

The National Crime Victim Bar Association educates attorneys, victim service providers, and the general public about civil legal remedies for crime victims. The National Crime Victim Bar Association also provides referrals for crime victims to civil attorneys in their local area.

The Council's website offers information and links to assist victims, and witnesses to crimes on military installations. Resources include contact information for victim and witness assistance coordinators for the Coast Guard, Department of the Air Force, Department of the Army, Department of the Navy, Marine Corps, Office of the Secretary of Defense. The DEA Victim Witness Assistance Program helps to ensure the rights of crime victims encountered in DEA investigations are met.

SAPRO is responsible for oversight of the U.S. Department of Defense's sexual assault policy. SAPRO works hand-in-hand with the military and civilian communities to develop and implement innovative prevention and response programs. This office provides services to victims of crime, including specialized services to victims of sexual assault.

Pathways to Safety International (formerly the Americans Overseas Domestic Violence Crisis Center) provides crisis services to victims crime outside the United States, including the crimes of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
