National Crime Victims' Rights Week, April 19-25, 2020

The 2020 National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) Resource Guide is now available online. This year, NCVRW will be commemorated April 19–25.

2020 National Crime Victims' Service Awards Ceremony

The format for the 2020 National Crime Victims’ Service Awards Ceremony has been changed to a virtual event for award recipients only. During the event, OVC will recognize individuals and organizations that demonstrate outstanding service in supporting crime victims and victim assistance programs.

Funding Opportunity: 2020 National Crime Victims' Rights Week Community Awareness Projects

Apply for funding for projects to raise public awareness of victims' rights and services in communities during National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW), April 19–25, 2020.

The NCVRW Community Awareness Projects grants reimburse up to $5,000 in costs associated with conducting public awareness activities during NCVRW, including—

  • public events (including candlelight vigils, information/resource fairs, 5k walk/runs);
  • mass media advertising; and
