Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $1,000,000)
The National Network to End Domestic Violence will implement the Confidentiality and Anti-Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Project (CAT/TTA Project). The purpose is to provide training and TA (TTA) for OVC’s FY2024, FY2025, and FY 2026 Human Trafficking Grant Program grantees and their subrecipients in the United States to better understand, implement, and navigate their confidentiality obligations under the VAWA confidentiality provision. Project activities include: 1) providing intensive TTA to OVC human trafficking grantees and other key purpose area stakeholders; 2) supporting data collection and assessment activities; 3) collaborating with other OVC human trafficking TTA providers; 4) increasing OVC grantees’ and partners’ expertise and specialized skills; and 5) developing and disseminating resources and trainings on the purpose area topic. Expected outcomes include: 1) improving the quality and quantity of services offered to trafficking survivors; 2) increasing collaboration among OVC grantees, other federally funded service providers and programs, community partners, and other stakeholders to enhance victim identification, service delivery, and multidisciplinary responses; 3) supporting grantees and their partners in intentional and sustainable engagement with survivors and impacted communities to improve anti-trafficking programming; and 4) supporting OVC human trafficking grantees in meeting their award goals and objectives. OVC’s FY2024, FY2025, and FY 2026 Human Trafficking Grant Program grantees and their subrecipients are the intended beneficiaries of the project.
