Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
MADD has hundreds of chapters that assist victims of drunk driving crashes at the local level. Its website offers statistics, activism information, materials in Spanish, and program awareness resources. MADD recently launched a 24-hour hotline to lend support to victims of drunk driving and their friends and family. You can call 877–MADD–HELP for emotional support, guidance, and referrals.
Childhelp®
Childhelp® is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse. The website includes information on nationwide facilities, helpful links, Childhelp programs, the National Child Abuse Hotline (800–4–A–CHILD), and child abuse reports.
U.S. Department of Defense: Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO)
SAPRO is responsible for oversight of the U.S. Department of Defense's sexual assault policy. SAPRO works hand-in-hand with the military and civilian communities to develop and implement innovative prevention and response programs. This office provides services to victims of crime, including specialized services to victims of sexual assault.
Gay Men's Domestic Violence Project
The Gay Men’s Domestic Violence Project supports victims and survivors through education, advocacy and direct services. Contact their 24/7 emergency hotline at 800-832-1901 to be connected with an advocate.
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children: CyberTipline
Use the CyberTipline to report cases of suspected online child sexual exploitation, including: online enticement of children for sexual acts, child sexual molestation, child sexual abuse material, child sex tourism, child sex trafficking, unsolicited obscene materials sent to a child, misleading domain names, and misleading words or digital images on the Internet.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
NAMI is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI operates a hotline which provides information, resource referrals, and support to people living with a mental health conditions, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers, and the public.
